    Scan Global Logistics signs an agreement to acquire Germany-based ETS Transport & Logistics GmbH
    Scan Global Logistics (SGL) will strengthen its market position in Europe's largest logistics market, Germany, by adding the Top 50 ocean freight forwarder ETS Transport & Logistics GmbH (ETS) to the group. The partnership will add scale and commercial muscles to SGL's German organisation, especially within ocean freight. The combined organisation of more than 100 experienced logistics professionals will significantly strengthen the global freight forwarder's position in the German market.

    Scan Global Logistics (SGL), a global logistics and supply chain solutions provider, has partnered with Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to launch a pilot project using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The pilot project launched in May aims to reduce carbon emissions for airfreight shipments of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle fashion products from Asia to the UAE.
