Cargo is moving across borders - Corona Virus (COVID-19)

India have chosen to implement a strict lock-down in all districts with confirmed COVID-19 cases. As we speak, we have confirmation that all airports and ports are closed until March 31.

Even though Covid-19 is all around us, the world has not come to a halt. We have just been awarded a major transport project by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.

Prior to departure on March 28, 2020, from Zhuzhou, China, an official ceremony with government officials from the city of Zhuzhou, marked the first ever Scan Global Logistics “owned” block train. The final destination of the block train is Duisburg, Germany, from where we will distribute to our customers’ warehouse facilities across Europe.

The ongoing restrictions on passenger airline flights between US and Europe have increased demand for alternative cargo solutions ensuring Scandinavian and US companies can maintain a steady flow of deliveries.
