Parcel and Express SE awarded Superföretag 2021

06 Dec, 2021

Parcel & Express has received the Superföretag 2021 award from the global data and insights provider Dun & Bradstreet. The award is given to the most successful companies in Sweden, proving fast growth, profitability, efficiency, and sound finances in four consecutive years.

When speed or economy is of the essence, the Nordic Parcel & Express service is essential. Targeting especially e-commerce and smaller businesses requiring a minimum or smaller shipments, the final-mile solution is a versatile, flexible, and cost-efficient supplement to the long overseas and airfreight transports.

The plug ‘n’ play solution, which can be combined with all our other modes of transport, attracts companies in many different industries, including our existing customers, mainly from ocean and air. Over the years, the easily scalable distribution solution has significantly benefitted many customers and thus contributed to the exponential growth and increased footprint that has played a role in qualifying for the award.

Lars Petersson, Manager Parcel & Express Sweden, comments:

We would never have come this far without hard work, dedicated colleagues, and close collaboration with our experienced suppliers. Receiving the award during the challenging pandemic speaks to the extra effort put in by everybody – as e-commerce has increased, so have our deliveries and types of customers. Our business model has proved its scalability and flexibility, and we are very proud to receive the Superföretag 2021 award.”

Since 2004, Dun & Bradstreet has ranked the most successful companies in Sweden based on the companies’ four most recent annual reports. The selection criteria involve turnover, profit, growth, business efficiency, stability, and the long-term business approach.

Parcel & Express is indeed a super part of how we help uncomplicate our customers' world.

Despite a temporary ceasefire, the Hormuz Straits remain de facto closed for transit

A two-week ceasefire announcement was announced on 8 April by the US, Israel and Iran, with the re-opening of the Hormuz Strait being a key component of the ceasefire agreement. The first 24 hours of the ceasefire have shown that the ceasefire itself is very fragile, and not least that there are conflicting views on key aspects of the agreement, not least in terms of whether a ceasefire in Lebanon was part of the scope or not.
