The proposed acquisition will strengthen Scan Global Logistics’ presence in key markets, place the company among the top 20 freight forwarders in the world, and broaden the supply chain capabilities available to customers beyond traditional freight forwarding.

Singapore, 21 September 2026 – Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Cycle & Carriage (C&C) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch an autonomous transport solution in Singapore using an electric autonomous vehicle, designed to transport commercial cargo. The partners are currently finalising the operational arrangements for the vehicle to be deployed on the roads for a supervised trial in Q4 2026.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) and Hapag-Lloyd are strengthening their partnership to further reduce emissions in ocean freight. By expanding their collaboration and leveraging Hapag-Lloyd’s Ship Green solution and integrating it into the existing product portfolio of emission-reducing solutions that SGL offers, which enables the global freight forwarder’s customers to take immediate and measurable action to decarbonise their global supply chains.

Swissport, the world’s leading aviation services provider, has launched its first dedicated perishables centre in the United Kingdom at London Heathrow Airport (LHR). The new facility strengthens the company’s global cool-chain network and supports growing demand for fresh Atlantic salmon. Scan Global Logistics is the first customer to operate from the site.
