For the second consecutive year, we have been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal 2025 for our sustainability performance. This places us among the top 5% of more than 150,000 companies across 120 industries and 180 countries — and with a score of 80, it ranks us in the top 3% globally.

CDP has awarded us a double ‘A’ rating in 2024 – the highest possible score – for both our performance in climate change and, most recently, supplier engagement. This recognition from the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform highlights our commitment to reducing emissions not only within our own operations but across the entire value chain we share with customers and partners.

Our efforts in sustainability and providing low-carbon logistics have been awarded the 'A' rating, the highest possible ranking from the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the leading organisation in sustainable economy and environmental reporting. The rating reaffirms our steady dedication to reducing our own and our customers' CO2 emissions through ongoing collaborations with suppliers and customers across the supply chain.

​​Singapore, November 2024 – Scan Global Logistics (SGL) recently hosted its Sustainability Forum 2024, titled “Race to Zero Emission,” for the first time in Asia. Gathering over 100 industry leaders, government representatives, and sustainability experts, the event centered around the theme ‘Driving Sustainable Solutions Together’ and served as a collaborative platform to share innovative approaches toward a carbon-neutral future.

We are proud to announce that on Monday, July 29, 2024, our long-term and net-zero targets for 2050 were approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as one of only a few companies within the logistics industry. The approval means that SBTi confirms our efforts to achieve our targets align with the 1.5°C trajectory from the Paris agreement to reach net zero by 2050 or sooner. To new and existing customers with SBTi targets, the approval ensures a partnership with a leading sustainable logistics provider in decarbonising their supply chain.

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) is proud to announce the launch of the first electric cross-border truck in Asia as part of its zero-emissions partnership with HTH Corporation. Deriving from a vision and commitment to creating a more sustainable logistics industry, the new electric truck is the first step to reducing road transport CO2 emissions on one of the region’s busiest trade routes.

Time is rapidly running out for companies that have committed to halving their emissions by 2030. With each passing year, the target becomes more difficult to reach. The Transportation Action Guide launched at COP28 by SGL, alongside IKEA, Scania Group, and the Exponential Roadmap Initiative provides practical steps for companies to begin cutting emissions immediately.
