AdventureAid started in August 2011 as Kenneth took a week long travel through South Europe on his mother’s three-speed bicycle. An idea of collecting signed football shirts around Europe to be auctioned came to him for the benefit of various charities. After two interesting months in Europe, he returned home to Sweden to continue his collection with Swedish clubs for the charity.
In the spring of 2013, over a cup of coffee with a good friend, started a new journey supporting another organization, the Children of the World “Världens Barn”. Not far from his previous achievement, this time his itinerary takes him from Alaska to Colombia. On 3rd of September 2013, Kenneth took on the challenge and spent 9 months and 17,000 km on his legs before the trip took an end.
AdventureAid, being an entirely voluntary project and a tool towards charity has since raised over 290 000 SEK for the benefit of Red Cross and the Children of the World. August 30 2016 marked the new adventure Kenneth takes on a bike for the Children’s Cancer, pedaling from the North Cape and south through Norway’s fjords. The idea behind the project is that Kenneth cycles and you donate to the Children's Cancer Foundation. A fund is launched, where you can donate please follow this link - barncancerfonde.se
Now we spread love and positive energy to those who really need it.
